To be honest, I have not analyzed in depth the previous Zcash, but now it seems quite interesting from a technological perspective and at the same time quite daunting from the perspective of money laundering. With ZCash you do not have that ability anymore.
Ethereum

This is still early and not many applications on Ethereum are developed but using Zero knowledge proof, but this shows great potential for privacy on Ethereum Blockchain.

I had the opportunity to study cryptography for half a year. Although the course was interesting, it was not very satisfactory because I could not find a real-world use case at the time.
